My order was processing at 3 yesterday so I assumed I would get it today, we'll at least I got a fiver back, but bit annoying dpd won't deliver till Monday, but those are the breaks

My copy from amazon didn't arrive today... Probably for the best though as I had a load of uni work to do and I'm going out for a christmas meal in a bit so won't get to play it tonight anyway.

Ok I restarted it for the third time and the sound is working fine now... very weird.

Maybe it had something to do with the game installing?

I currently have developed this problem now....

Disconnected my PS4 this morning to replace with my Slim PS3. The PS4 had been wired with the PS3s power cable & hdmi. Installed GT6 on my Slim PS3 and played all afternoon and later this evening without a problem.
Copied my saves into the PSN+ cloud before hooking up the PS4 again and installed the GT6 on my launch PS3 in the conservatory, so my 7yr old could play it tomorrow. Copied the GT6 save across and loaded it up to check it worked and all was okay.
Moved my Slim PS3 up to the bedroom and connected with the power & HDMI cable provided in the PS4 box but now when I load GT6 all sound in the PS3 cuts out - even if browsing the XMB. As soon as I quit out, it's back again.
I've quit & reloaded 3 or 4 times and shut down the console twice but it's not cured it yet.
There's only two other things I can think of trying but it's too late now.
1) Connect with the HDMI cable that is downstairs.
2) Uninstall/Reinstall.

Should have listened to myself when I said it was too late to try and fix, I'm up for work in 4 hours & I still haven't sorted it.

Have tried removing the disc & unplugging for 30 seconds.
Have deleted the Update.
Have deleted the 1.01 patch.
Have deleted the save data. Backed up obviously!
Have tried the 'original' HDMI cable.
All with no success.
I'm now reinstalling the day one 1.01 patch but I don't think that's just going to fix it. I can only find one small thread about the issue (via Google) at GTPlanet where 3 of 4 users have the same problem but no known fix.

Gt5 feels the slowest to me. As for SR, it only really had one car in a race and physics for 2. Brilliant game mind.

So did GT given the series never had any sort of decent AI until GT 5 :P . SEGA Rally cars had better physics and the tires and suspension reacted better the different road surfaces than GT . Its a shame SEGA never built on SR and give the CS Team a few years to make a true Rally sim to rival Colin McRae ; speaking of which to me Codemasters Toca on the PS was the real best driving sim onthe 32 bit consoles

Agree with all bar better physics. GT; while having only tarmac to really race on, has so much to model when you look at tuning. Every mod to your car changes it slightly. Impressive programming on a ps1.

Pretty pissed with shopto, I had loads of credit so ordered the annivsary one, and with DPD to play today , and they didn't ship it till today, so deliver won't be until Monday, at least they have credited my account with a fiver for release date or compensate, but not to happy. I can't play it today

Strange I ordered gt6 anniversary edition Thursday morning as I had forgotten to preorder and it had shipped by the evening and I got it yesterday.

I've not had time to install the game yet to see if I get the sound issue.

How big is the patch to download ?

First patch is 1.2GB then there are a couple of other tiny updates.

Just got this for X-mas can't play before but gonna install that gigantic patch before. Looking fwd to playing what seems to be regarded as the best GT since GT3. Handling model n menus sound especially great.

I don't think my 2007 Polo is in.

I don't know about GT6, but in 5 there was the Megane Coupe from 2k. I painted it yellow too, just as my car.

Good to read that major updates are planned for the game every single month for at least the first six months of next year. Be interesting to see when the Ayrton Senna content is like.
