Xenoblade Chronicles
Deus EX: HR
The Old Republic (unfortunately my beta experience turned out to be more enjoyable than most games I've played this year)
Tales of the Abyss
Skyrim (if Dave can add on a game he's yet to play then so can I)
2011's award for most disappointing pile of dead cats goes to *Drumroll*.....
SKYWARD SWORD! Despite my initial sense of wonderment with the title, I've so far made it to dungeon 2 and have quite literally lost the desire to continue. It might have a decent story to it, but for the time being at least I won't be finding out either way. I realize a lot of Zelda games are linear, but this pisses all over linear and creates a whole new "genre" which I call "evenworsethanlinear" (might need some work on that name). Where is the Hyrule Field/Great Ocean of this game? Sky? PLEASE!
What's that you cry? It's a Zelda game, I'm SUPPOSED to like it? Sorry, no dice.
