You can Never ! get 100% perfect emulation, if you own the originals why bother buying an emulated product in the first place ?


I also think this will be a great little product once its hacked with all sorts of emu on it

It's just running a version of FinalBurn Alpha, which is a freeware emulator (they didn't make it themselves). The files stored on the cards are just gonna be ROMs, there's no way the emulation will be any better or worse than it would be if they were stored internally. In fact, one model actually just has an extra SD card hidden internally and everything's stored on there anyway.

I very much doubt Tommo or Blaze or whatever no-name made this will be interested in issuing firmware updates in the future.

My two year old phone emulates Neo titles perfectly, why not this?

I knew they would not be as good as the originals, but from most reviews people say they are decent enough.

For fighting games where complex inputs and commands need to be precise (specifically the KoF franchise) things need to run perfectly. Any frame skips or jerks will throw you off and ruin the gameplay. Anyone that's played KoF Collection on the PSP (one of the few games I've actually thrown away) or any shoddy emu knows this.

The price is a joke and should have been no more than ?100, my only complaint.
I think they will keep their value tho .

For the same price can't you get an Xperia Play over there? It has perfect emulation (up to and including CPS-II), D-pad and six buttons, mobile browsing and acts as a movie/music player. Oh, and it's a phone too.

To add to my opinion of the system, up until yesterday i'd only had hands on with the handheld itself. Was round at Fuses place though and had a look at his full set up, the sticks are fairly faithful to the original and feel pretty good. The plastics are a little cheaper and the stick a little looser, but still felt pretty accurate to me. The build quality of the dock as well felt a lot better than I was expecting, though I didn't get to see what the video output was like as the big guy didn't have it hooked up. Still have my doubts over the handhelds build quality from when I tried my mates in Scotland, but I think if they could sort out the issues in an update it could become much better than it currently is.

Well it at least looks like that are looking into a patch , lets hope they come good, not that there is an excuse in the first place not to have these things fixed before release.

Mine will be here tomorrow really looking forward to it.

Had a quick go of mine today, build quality is impressive to my eyes, feels good quality and worth the money, stick feels good, certainly as good as the ps2/3 neo sticks (never used an original) dock is very nice too, not sure why anyone's saying it feels cheap? Can't see it myself.

Haven't tried hooking it up to the tv yet so I can't comment on that yet (next weekend when im less busy) but the handheld feels really nice, again good quality, not at all cheap and plasticky, screen is nice too, everying looks good to me on the games I played (bar white blood etc) sound is a little low, but suits me.
Think I would of preferred a standard d-pad myself But the stick is responsive and well built. Got a 337 firmware model too which is good for the hackz supposedly.

Will test out the tv output next week but so far I'm happy. If Tommo comes through with promises of more games and firmware updates to fix various issues then it can only get better. I would recommend.
