Why do people say this ?. In most cases I still have the old hardware and games in question, but its about easy of use and the lack of needing to have every classic console set up and all the games ready to hand.
With titles like this on XBLA, its just a question of putting on the 360 and playing the game (don't even need to put this disc in the machine) and I doubt this will cost more than 800 or 1200 points (tops).

I just wish Konami would bring Gradius V to PSN

?20? Not interested. The game can stay a fond memory.

+1 Would happily pay ?20 just for the convenience but doubt it will be that much.

When I saw the teaser I almost died.

When I saw the possible price, I came back to life a bit.

I definitely agree with the convenience argument(it's why I bought all the Sonic roms on XBLA and SoR2) but, hilariously, my DC is actually sitting here on my desk right now, I can see JGR up there on the shelf underneath some HD-DVDs and the VGA box and controller are in a container under my piano.

I'll buy it on PSN in a flash if it's around a tenner, and anything can happen between now and May so I'm still interested, like I am with anything Sega.

I'm gonna do a Resi CV and celebrate the news of this re-release by just playing the original.

            And now for some news....

Looks like an actual remake as you can get your very own tag put into the game.

XBLA, PSN, and Windows PC Digital Download this summer.

Judging by the graffiti sizes - 128x128 up to 512x128 - I reckon it's not a remake, because those are tiny and sound like the sizes of the original DC graffiti. Besides, you could make your own in the game anyway, couldn't you?

Also, I swear they used the term pixel-perfect in one of the promo blurbs?

                          It doesn't matter!

Anyway, the widescreen-ness of those photos got me wondering, so I googled for JSR shots:

It looks to me like they're not stretched but actual widescreen. Could just be cropped or the OSD stuff could've been added afterwards and just moved about but I hope it's actually widescreen...

                            It's definitely 16:9

Probably my favorite Dreamcast game. Way better than the sequel too

I REALLY hope they don't change the soundtrack! Half of the experience was the awesome music

The most over rated piece of gumpf I've ever repeatedly tried forcing myself to like, or in the least try to 'get'.

Don't worry. I'm gone from this thread now.
