What is the best PSP?

I hate the UMD, not for any other reason than I have seen so many fall apart, used ones that I have purchased of course, not my own new ones.

I have a 1000 and will have to seriously look into a 2/3000 if the screen is that much nicer.

There are obvious advantages to avoiding UMD though, battery life being the biggest one, better loading time being another. It's so trivial to install a CFW these days, and simple enough to switch between 'stock' firmware and CFW in about 2 seconds.
