I think Zombie Revenge is really set up as an money grabbing arcade machine game, ie not fair, it just wants you to die lots and put more money in, much like some of the SNK Neo Geo games.

With GunLord due out I'm expecting some more DC loving in this thread soon It'll be interesting to see what people make of it as I was never a Turricane fan so skipped it (and it looked visually ropey too)

The Dreamcast's glory days definitely did not involve Blue Stinger or Virtua Striker 2
Depends ....I too am a massive fans of both games infact I remember me, Lee and Hartley hare all raving about Blue Stinger on import; Some more other looked gems on the system to me would be Rayman II (still looks stunning) Incoming , Get Bass 1 and II , Maken X ( a true overlooked and underrated classic ) D2, Pen Pen (when games used to be fun to look at, listen too and play)

I really like Buggy Heat, it's a classic no crap included arcade conversion.

I really like the game too (shame the handling was off) Really liked the way the tracks altered with each lap too and I did like CRI flight games on the DC too

Virtua Striker, and by that I mean most versions of it, is massively popular in the arcades here. Always people playing them oddly enough.

I tried playing once but I got slaughtered.

I looked up virtua striker on YouTube to jog my memory. It looks absolutely terrible. I'm sure there are 16 bit footy games that play better!

Nothing plays better than Sensible. Virtual Striker 2 is just over the too Arcade fun and I love the little touches in Virtual Striker 2, like the time of day settings (depending on the DC clock) and how each team has its own unique chat and sounds . I still love to play TAITO Hat trick Hero games too

It's been interesting to see so much love shown for Virtua Striker, I remember it getting a proper frosty reception when it came out. Then again there's very few football games I've ever gotten along with Last ones I can recall were FIFA 3DO, ISS64 and Sensi Soccer!

Me and me mate used to enjoy and play regularly JALECO goal series on the SNES and Hudson Super Soccer - even though they're truly dire games, they were fun to play in their own funny ways .

Trufax there, football games are quite interesting beasts, especially older ones where there were seemingly only a few ways to score goals, unless you became a super sayan mega zen master at some like me.

The hat trick hero games were always boss, particularly the ones with the zooming camera and special moves, my fave from that period was Seibu Olympic Cup soccer '92, owned a few jammas of it in my time.

There were awesome , loved the scaling and the way you could knock over the Ref or the press/camera men too . Spent a fortune in the Arcades in Barry and Porthcawl playing Hat trick hero . Good days , really miss them in so many ways

When reading so many comments regarding so many games in here it just feels like people are prepared to make so many excuses for some of the worst games around at the time.

One can't help the games they like to play ; I mean you like the new Zelda and its dire controls everyone is different. To this day is amazes me how many DC fans still rave about the likes of Shenmue (the 1st one) and Ch Ch Rocket . I thought both were poor when they 1st came out, never mind now ....

Don't get me wrong TA, I had a lot of fun also with games like Buggy Heat and the like but was never under the illusion that they were good titles. It just seems that the most mediocre games get forgiven on the Dreamcast more than any other machine.
