Can't go wrong with a bit of Jet Set Radio - even if the latter half of the game is absolute nails!

Went back to play some Soul Reaver the other night. As someone mentioned earlier, the lack of a loading screen was something I hadn't really noticed until it was brought up on here. Must have been quite impressive at the time.

It's been interesting drifting from Batman: Arkham Asylum to Soul Reaver as they do share some similarities. The gliding and picking your fights feels quite similar, but the combat in Soul Reaver is certainly lacking. Any reboot or sequel would need to expand on that side of the game greatly, as it's already becoming somewhat of a chore to play and I'm not even half way through! Loving the puzzles though.

Finally got round to playing Tokyo Bus Guide and GUESS WHAT?

        DC doesn't bloody work

I had the DC sitting on Bus Guide's menu screen and then it went blank.

It keeps going black randomly and not doing anything. Doubt it's the VGA box as it's doing the same thing in TV mode or without the VGA box plugged in.

Cracked it open and going to do the obvious stuff like bending the PSU pins.

        WHY???

DC worked fine after my TLC.

Tokyo Bus Guide was hilarious but it looks like I'll be bringing my PS2 down here this weekend for TBG2 love. I'd take the digitally-analogue accelerating over DC's straight-up analogue any day considering how much more enjoyable the game itself is.

Quick bash on Ecco, that was fun, then SR2 which is jerk city.

@speedy: Thing is, this particular issue has never happened before. The reset problem I used to get would go to the DC menu screen in exactly the same way as if you were to just press eject. There was no power cycling, no LED flickering or any kind of screen adjustment on the telly like what happens if the signal is disrupted. Also I noticed the pins had already been bent forward a bit last time I'd opened it.

I'll probably solder them if it happens again, definitely seems like the best idea as there's nothing I need to fiddle with below the PSU anyway.

Had a quick blast on Crazy Taxi 2 earlier. Not overly keen on the jump button they added, but I do like how you can pick up more than one passenger at a time, and how they have their own unique 'entrances' into the cab.

Also played some Street Fighter Alpha 3. Went with Ken this time round. Still can't do the the uppercut move. :/

                        Yes. :/

I only do it by accident.

Think I may try and get better with Cody as he seems a little more noob friendly.

That's what I got my username from Back in the days of playing Streetfighter 2 in the arcades, a particularly annoying kid would often stand behind me and shout ''Do the 'Oh Mutants'!''
