Sorry gang, but Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair has been delayed two months from February to April 2015.
The PS Vita version of EDF 2 is going ahead as planned though.

Currently mopping up Easy to get me to the magical 70% complete that unlocks the weapon and armour limits.
Got me Lysander Z, the best sniper, in a weapons run last night too!

No problem, but let me know if you have any specific questions.
Basically, each difficulty adds up to 20% completion, so if you do easy on all four classes you're at 20%.
Get to 70% online and you can turn off the weapon and armour limits.
I'm at 62.55% and trying to lose the limits to make hard and hardest a little easier.Comment

The EDF 2 Vita website has been updated with a ridiculous video of people bonding over EDF and then winning a Fight Club-style underground gaming club. Nice demo of it in action on Vita TV though!

I was going to link this the other day, but they removed the page from the official site. It's back on now:
It looks like it can climb walls like a Ghost in the Shell Fuchikoma!
Translated, the page says:
"Depth crawler
Walking tank for underground combat. Has four hooks arms, to proceed to crawl, and can even wall freely travel not only bad road. The jumping with the hook arm, and can be three-dimensional behaviour such jump shifts to the ceiling or wall.
