I played Zombie Virus last night which is quite good fun for an hour or so. It's the budget game where you drive an ambulance round a city picking up survivors and running down zombies. After the first few runs you unlock enough tech for the game to become incredibly easy.

I also started in on Raw Danger. Not far enough to say too much but I'm really enjoying a game that isn't about violence.

When your playing Clock Tower its quite average looking but in the realtime cutscenes it curiously adds loads more effects which make it look nicer. There are definitely better looking games on the system, initially it just surprised me by not being as budget as I'd expected.

Tried Corvette hoping it would be along the same lines as the Ford Racing series but its not and is pretty poor. Handling is ok but the braking is horrendous so you travel slow most of the time, hardly fun.

Had a rip on powerdrone last night. Boy, its fast. A bit basic now, but i remember when i came out, it was the bees-knees

Had some quick flutters with three games this morning:

            -Big Mutha Truckers 2
Pretty tedious as there's little to the gameplay

            -Bloody Roar 4
Feels like a really basic fighting system and quite drab looking too

            -Firefighter FD18
Kinda hoped this would be decent as fire fighter games are rare but once the gameplay begins its uber clunky.

Bloody roar 3 is the best

I've only got faint memories of Bloody Roar 3, hopefully I've got it knocking about to try out.

Another run of quick try outs:

                -Garouden: Fist or Twist
Pretty awful to be honest, a fighter with mostly just punch and kick

                -Crash n Burn
OK enough, tries to be a mix of racer and Destructiin Derby but very forgettable

                -Espgaluda
Shmup, nice tunes but can be easy to lose track of charactet as its so busy. Enjoyed it for a quick blast though

                -Ford vs Chevy
Currently on this, quite good fun so far.

Have you got Ford Racing Street? That looks pretty decent for a budget game. Ford Racing 3 was very impressive.

Bloody Roar is a strange series. I think there were 5...

                    original PS1
                    BR2 on PS1
                    BR 3 on PS2
BR Primal Fury on GameCube and 360 which was a different game, but I think used the visual assets of 3
                    BR4 on PS2

...and yet all of them in my eyes were worse games than the original, which was a bit daft but extremely playable. I stuck it on with a friend a few weeks ago and it was still very fun.

Don't think I have Ford Racing as I played it way back when, decent series though, shame they stopped

I remember Bloody Roar well, mainly due to the intro theme which was cool

I loved Bloody Roar, even the Gamecube one.

I'm about a quarter of the way through Darkwatch at the moment and it's fairly simple but so far I'm quite enjoying it. Always slightly wigged by no down sights aiming and its easy to miss targets but its not a hard game and levels whip by quite quick so it doesn't outstay its welcome.

Darkwatch is superb. Visually awesome, brilliant weapons and great audio. The level design is really good and the gameplay satisfying. Plenty of replay value too.

I've been liking that the weapon drops are quite frequent, it's hand being able to regularly swap out from the crossbow to the shotgun to the repeater as the different enemies appear.

At the mo I've been tinkering away at the slightly cheeky Ikki Tousen: Shining Dragon. Very simple brawler but with enlarged female bits...
