I like the Splashdown games a lot. The first is better but the second is bundles of fun. I ended up picking up US version of both for 60hz goodness.
Yes very good has slightly more RPG type elements than before and more character changing. Good variation of how to upgrade with weapons and the like as far as I can tell. Not sure how hard it will get, found some if the finals bosses on some of the Onimushas really tough. Enjoy the Onimusha feel again though feel it could have evolved into a nice PS3 game not sure why Capcom did not update it

I wouldn't bother. It has a nice opening and first couple of hours but the section down at the river versus the Mexican army is just awful - so much so, I gave it up. A 5 or 6 out of 10 if I ever saw one, and life's too short for anything less than a seven or eight IMO.

Skyrim is very nearly finished so I'm going to be making one last push with the PS2 before getting rid. Therefore I'm gonna put a 4 week time limit on this before moving on.

Woah, lost a few posts here too. In the end Project Zero was alright, had a couple of nice jumps along the way especially when ghosts are more corner of your eye. I've just started up Project Zero 3 (I've got 2 and 4 but they're on my Wii) and the animation is better but also longer so I don't know if that will eventually annoy. So far the ghost sightings are much more in your face too which means they're less effective. Other than that though, more of the same

Bloody PS2! Just lost my progress on PZ3, not restarting it all again so set it aside and tried to get a hit of nostalgia from Parappa the Rappa 2 but it was rubbish. The hit detection on your button presses is so poor you have to compensate for the immense lag. Next up, No-One Lives Forever

I've actually been meaning to go back and finish the rest of the Project Zero games. I loved the first, I was only 13 at the time but it had some brilliant jumpy moments. However I was never able to get into the second game, wasn't very scary and just felt dull. The third is definitely better but again lacks any real scares tho I never liked going into the dark room.

I'm curious to get around to the fourth game but that'll be some time away. Seemed a decent looking game and the japan only release raises the mystique. Damn PS2 foiled me again as the No One Lives Forever disc won't load so now onto some fighters to give a quick farewell try out.

Dabbled with Neo Geo Colisseum and KoF XI this morning. My next disc is Metal Slug Anthology, gonna crank it on easy with free play and cane all 7 entries on it. Epic mindless fun

It's been SNKrazy. Over the last few days I've gone through all 7 entries in Metal Slug Anthology, battled through King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2 and King of Fighters 2003. Lastly, some laps with THAT tune on Initial D.

Next up, never tried it, Ghost Hunter

Hmm... not sure with Ghosthunter. I can appreciate the concept, it's like a horroresque Luigis Mansion and looks nice but at the same time that's being generous. The controls aren't amazing, but workable and many of the environments and enemy designs are very bland. A glance at GFAQ suggest strongly that the whole game is like that so I might end up shelving it.

Good game Ghosthunter but certainly a bit dated now. It just has plenty of atmosphere and amazing visuals mixed with solid gameplay. I completed it and enjoyed it quite a bit but it's certainly unspectacular compared to more modern efforts.

Did you happen to try Primal? Definitely better of the two, tho the controls do take a little getting used to and switching forms is a bit jarring.

I thought Primal was far worse. Spongy combat and a nasty camera actually gave me a headache. It would move at each and every minor incline in the terrain.

Lol I loved it, I was drawn into it more than ghosthunter and was able to complete it a few times unlike gh which is still incomplete.
