I don't understand people saying Apples products are overpriced. I don't want to take away from the point at hand but it all comes down to what you choose to buy and how much you value something. Would I spend ?500 on a Samsung Galaxy SIII, no as I hate android. The same goes for Apples laptops etc, yes they are priced higher but in the buyers opinion they prefer the design and the OS and they are paying for their choice. It's bad business sense not too and in a way just like Nintendo, Apple products retain their value and depreciation is far lower than competitors.

I use the nexus 7...that is value. But i wouldn't buy something which relies on 100% touchscreen controls for gaming....ever.

Possibly. But to pick a figure arbitrarily out of the air because it's somehow relevant for you and assert that *that* defines a 'true gamer' is patently ridiculous.
The whole concept of 'true' or 'hardcore' gaming is spurious anyway. If someone feels the need to qualify themselves as a true gamer for some sort of validation, it says more about their own insecurities than anything else.

We all know that a true gamer has to have played every game ever to completion on every available difficulty setting, and also discovered a bug that allows him to complete every single one of those games in under 17.5 seconds.

That is none of us on here, we are false gamers.
