I find this idea of limiting the number of times a demo can be played to be very obtuse. It doesn't enamour me in to wanting to purchase the full game. It's also making me not want to bother with WiiU demos.

I find this idea of limiting the number of times a demo can be played to be very obtuse. It doesn't enamour me in to wanting to purchase the full game. It's also making me not want to bother with WiiU demos.

Isn't 30 times enough to make up your mind?

That's not the point at all - it's simply a turn off. It's like a publisher is giving me the finger.

The demo for Forza IV kept me going and going until the full game arrived, it made me excited for the full game. If that had of limited me to 30 laps, it would have made me consider not bothering with it, it would have diminished my enthusiasm for it, much as limiting the demos on WiiU is.

There's absolutely no need for it at all.

So hold no your machine crashed twice ... and you went and got a replacement ... Am I missing something ... ?? If I did that with my 360 every other time it crashed I would never leave the shop I bought it from!

I i had 3 errors on a brand new console in the space of 2 hours, so i wasnt taking any chances i had a lemon, so yeah

3DS demos have had between 10 and 30 play-limits since they started coming out.

i agree with this if they have to make it time limited at least do days instead of plays such as 14 days, 7 days or whatever
