Having played Persona 4 Golden and EDF last weekend, the Vita displays just as many rough and jaggy looking games as the 3DS.

That is literally impossible and yet I get your point. My recent vita games have been Rayman and Oddworld so they are graphical showcases for the system so it's natural that any 3ds game on a large xl screen would not hold up. I'd like to see a metroid game on 3ds.

The problem is that the Vita screen is too good. When you get a showcase game it looks amazing but everything else looks pretty jaggy. Persona 4 is a PS2 game for god sake, it could and should have looked a lot nicer than it does.

I really want to offer perspective to how awesome Nintendo's gamepad tech is - but Ninja's will probably come smashing through the windows!

I do hope Nintendo ride this out - im sure they will, but more than ever the industry need them.

See its weird. I loved my original little white 3DS yet when I upgraded it to the XL (the day it came out) I absolutely hated it, it just felt wrong maybe its because I had spent so much time with the little white beast. I know if I buy another one it will be original all the way

True it's nice but it nothing a joypad bolted to a ?60 android tablet couldn't do, let's face it its no ipad mini (if we are comparing what it's alleged to cost)

If they're selling wiiu at a loss then they are being ripped off by their suppliers. Nintendo have cut every possible corner on wiiu. No way should it cost more to make than a ps3.

They made a profit day one on the gamecube which at the time was probably more advanced than ps2 or Xbox. Wii was recycled tech from cube and they made an absolute killing on it.

Ps3 has a lot more stuffed inside and is now making a profit on every console, so to say that the wii U is a truly baffling comment.

Very true. But only my gamepad let's me play NSMBU in bed so they get away with it.... Again....

I hope your showcase game isnt one of the many scaled titles, i'd take twice the jaggies of a native res title to avoid the horrid softness of the non native stuff.

I dont personally believe they are selling at a loss, not for a second.

The gamepad has a screen and some simple streaming tech, but the console isnt really anything more advanced than whats already available for ?150 odd. Plus you get the said cut corners.

God forbid a company should ever tell porkies...
