Decent reasons for you. See that's the problem, on all these boards people never classify their remarks as "in my opinion". Who is "we"? The whole borders down community or just you and MrB? I am more than happy with what's out on Wii U

Have you actually played New Super Mario on Wii U? If not then I will give your opinion less weight than those that have.
MrB trolled "there will never be any 1080p WiiU games" when in fact one is due out in a couple of weeks.

We, in that case, was me and (I assume) MrB. If that's what you're happy with- good for you. It's not enough for me.

I pretty much ALWAYS put in my opinion but I thought to myself, what's the point? It's a public forum for debate. Obviously it's my opinion. Just like yours is that it has enough. I don't see how I'm trolling to expect more from it. The 3DS has been a huge disappointment so far too. Is that trolling? I own one of those, and there's barely anything good for it IMO. Hopefully Luigi's Mansion is good, but Paper Mario isn't that great so it hasn't exactly filled me with confidence for it.

And using a 2D game as an argument for 1080p games is obviously not what he meant. He meant complex 3D games. The 360 has (very few but some) 1080p games, and the graphics card in the Wii U is meant to be a bit better so obviously for stylised/ 2d games, it can most likely do it. Didn't Nintendo promise NSMBU in 1080p? Then back out? I mean it's a decent looking game but I would have thought they could have got it running in 1080p from what I've seen of it.

No, I've got no interest in playing NSMBU. I've been burned by NSMB on DS and on Wii. No thanks. A new entry into that franchise isn't going to persuade me, unless it's vastly different and from watching videos of it etc I thought it looked nice but not enough to wash the bad taste away from those other entries.

I pop in here expecting to read the latest news on the wiiu and am confronted with pages of people ranting about the price or the spec, what I would say is dont feed the trolls, ignore them and they go away.

I don't see trolling on the PSV thread though for example, or the 3DS one for that matter, in the end people have a right to express their views, but when its constant, misinformed and down right inaccurate, that's when its trolling ...

Back on topic for a change , loviing Zen Pinball on the WiiU, perfect for Gamepad play, although the table selection seems to be mainly 'Marvel' related currently, with a few of the classic Zen tables. Would like to see some of the other tables appearing on other platforms.

Lighten up folks you are happy with your spend right? How can some simple discussion on value, and hardware spec be so detrimental to you enjoying your wii?

If you want individual game news they usually have their own thread, so this thread is always going to be full of either news or discussion about price, sales figures, tech, or some other hardware factor.

Its cannot always be mutual tossing off over each others happiness and justification at spending the ?300, i mean what do you expect comments which are nothing but "i love my WiiU!!!".

Im not talking about opinion here, I am talking about basic bull**** that people are spouting that just isn't correct, or has just been copied from elsewhere because they think its fact.

As I have stated I have been just as critical over some of Nintendo's choices recently than anybody else, and then of course to play the 'fanboy' card will just annoy people even more. If you want to have a reasonable discussion with people then post stuff that is reasonable.

I wish I had never posted that, ironic thing is I bought a Wii-U. It's a lovely system but not ?300 lovely. Expensive for what it is but if you can get one on the cheap do it; if not wait until something you want does come out or the price hits the sweet spot. That's all I was trying to say. Utter tosh though that they are making a loss on hardware unless the logistical costs are a fortune, or it was designed by NASA for them. More likely its Foxconn bending them over because they can get more off Apple.

Where have i mentioned banter once? and also what hole have i dug? If nothing from the internet can be taken as solid news, then anything anyone says on pretty much anything will be complete bull****.

The fanboy card, in your case is no card at all...but if it were a card to play, it would be no different to you tossing around the troll comments whenever anything you dont like gets mentioned. I think i started the whole thing off tbh. However my original beef wasn't the fact that it is ?300, it was the fact that ninty claimed they weren't making a profit on it, which i called as bull. As to its value to the individual, its all going to be subjective and some wont mind the cost, others will.
