Thats what happens when you support pal region nintendo gaming you just get screwed over again & again. When it comes to nintendo UK is worthless as a region, importing is the only way to go.

To be fair to them, so far they've been pretty good. I mean certainly the Japan region differs massively from the rest of the world, but they've been pretty close with UK/US releases - some games have even come out in Europe first (Fantasy Life isn't out in America yet, for example).

It's a far cry from the dark days of the Game Boy Advance, where they seemed to take ages to release games, many didn't see release at all, and those that did had about 10 copies printed, unless they were a Scooby Doo or Spongebob game, in which case every branch of GAME got 700.

Real shame over Rune Factory. I haven't played any of the previous ones, but I was thinking about making a start with this one. Fantasy Life sounds a bit too Animal Crossing for my taste.

Yeah heard that the japanese servers are getting hammered so nobody can do a system transfer either.

If only Nintendo hardware could facilitate user accounts like, you know, Sony and MS hardware does...

You should get the first Wii RF game, Rune Factory Frontier. Cute and fun. Number 3 on the DS was good too.

Fantasy Life is very different from Animal Crossing and much more action RPG. In fact, FL is closer to RF than AC.

Oh and I got my MH theme yesterday, it's got the SFX and all! Love it.

Hello chaps, been away for 2 weeks. Did people come to a conclusion about somewhere good to order an Australian n3DS from? I imagine it's probably too late to preorder now anyway, I just really wanted one for Pok?mon.

PlayAsia had them up for pre-order on 3rd October (I was lucky enough to get one) and that Mighty Ape had them but only take PayPal for international pre-order and you pay now.

Yeah. The AUS 3DS will play UK retail games. That Mighty Ape site (or one of the other AUs online stores) actually had UK games for sale as imports.

Are the AU ones just naturally more expensive? I know the Japanese one cost me ?90 so play asias markup to ?133 was extreme to say the least.

Yeah they're RRP ?120. Probably be around the same in the UK I guess.
