Sure you can. Games are to be enjoyed. If it turns out it's not fit for purpose, I would say it's within your statutory rights to return it. Only game I ever did that on was a GBA Star Wars game and I was very up front about returning it because I thought it was godawful and it wasn't a problem.

I'm not sure that the merit of the content of an item is covered by statutory rights, as long as the item itself functions as promised. Could I return Mass Effect 3 because I didnt like the ending, even though the game itself worked fine? I'd like it to be true, but I imagine then that every scrote in creation would be returning everything...

Thing is, they'll be in towns where there isn't currently a game.

They could do some really modern things with the sites.

I don't see it happening. Somebody will come in and rescue HMV as their presence is needed on the high street.

It's quite worrying that OpCapita possibly stands to make money from the loss of honest hard working people's jobs and the closure of high street stores. Many of these people will likely end up on capped benefits, which the government says makes them lazy scroungers. Who says capitalism works?

Maybe they should pay the ex employees or the government back the money they didn't have for redundancies before they try to buy more stores. What a twat
