Not for the console - I have the same issue with a Japanese unit.
I did buy a Game 'stand and charger' for gamepad, binned the stand and use the charger from that instead - so gamepad is all good.

I don't thiinnnk that Wii U uses the same AC adapter as Wii.. so I have a stepdown on that.

I can't see this game hitting half price within eight weeks. 30% off leading up to Xmas maybe.

Thanks Zaki I didn't find any adaptors on Play-Asia, but then I remembered Super-Ufo and they had both for console and gamepad - sweet!

You don't need to buy those. Just buy some cheap shaver adaptors (they will work).

Apparently the official Wii U Pro Controller is a tenner in Game at the moment when bought with a pack of screen protectors or any other hardware etc.

Well worth it, its a great controller, I often revert to it over the gamepad

Yay. Why is the entirety of the Wii VC not already on Wii U?

Exactly what I asked in a questionnaire to Nintendo yesterday.

It could really give the WiiU that extra boost while it needs it too.

I'd rather they reissued them in 60 Hz than just porting them over.

They'd simply have to use the US ROMs, which is what they have largely done up to now anyway. There's really not any excuses.

I have just traded my WiiU in. Goodbye Nintendo, I'll remember the good times
