Not for the console - I have the same issue with a Japanese unit.
I did buy a Game 'stand and charger' for gamepad, binned the stand and use the charger from that instead - so gamepad is all good.

I don't thiinnnk that Wii U uses the same AC adapter as Wii.. so I have a stepdown on that.

Yeah, but publishers know all too well that within a month or two it will be half price in the sale, and they know we know too...thats how i see initial high prices these days...with target audiences buying from the off, and the rest getting it cheap shortly thereafter.

I can't see this game hitting half price within eight weeks. 30% off leading up to Xmas maybe.

Is it possible to buy a EU (in my case, Norwegian) AC adaptor so I don't have to use a stepdown on both my US Wii U and gamepad? Haven't seen any for sale.

Thanks Zaki I didn't find any adaptors on Play-Asia, but then I remembered Super-Ufo and they had both for console and gamepad - sweet!

You don't need to buy those. Just buy some cheap shaver adaptors (they will work).

Apparently the official Wii U Pro Controller is a tenner in Game at the moment when bought with a pack of screen protectors or any other hardware etc.

Three classic Street Fighter games may be making their way to the Wii U eShop next week. According to listings on Nintendo’s website, Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior, Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting, and Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers will be available as Virtual Console downloads. Each is priced at $7.99.

Remember: Nintendo’s listings are sometimes hit and miss. It’s very possible we’ll be seeing these three titles next Thursday, but we won’t know for sure until the official Nintendo Download report is published.

They'd simply have to use the US ROMs, which is what they have largely done up to now anyway. There's really not any excuses.
