I picked up Wind Waker HD and was wondering if Nintendo ever confirmed what was going on with GBA/GC on Virtual Console? I suspect it's been canned but Toon Link on my Wii U is making my subconscious scream "You've still never played Minish Cap, you amateur" and even I'm not optimistic enough to hope they'll HD remake that (they bloody well should!).
In other big news I bought The Wonderful 101 and have now been sold on Platinum Games ability to make a good game! It really makes me wish Nintendo had an achievements system though, for me personally that would add so much more replayability to this game.

Been playing Zelda all day, what a gem of a game, and so nice to be playing a top Nintendo title with a proper controller again.
Those stupid Wiimotes nearly killed of Nintendo for me.
Galaxy was ruined, turned what should have been a 10/10 game into an 8/10 game, Twilight Princess I got 3 hours into and then bought on the GC, and so it was so nice to sit down today and play properly.
Put it on at 10am and played till 2pm and then again from 3.30 till 6pm, couldn't do that with a Wiimote.
Great looking game, was a little concerned with the blooming on contrast at first, but not seen much of it since.

Actually, to be fair too the Wiimote.
I have changed the layout of my TV room recently, and I am finding the Wii Games are now much easier to control than before, I can now slump on the sofa and play, where as before I had to sit up and sort of lean forward to get the controls feeling any where near responsive.

Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are sublime in every aspect, controls included. They stand up alongside the best of anything on 360 and PS3.
The only Wii game that I felt improved the controls was Skyward sword and this is solely down to the using the sword and having your movements replicated. However I feel this should always have a fallback to a normal control such as a right analog stick.

In fact there's not a single bad thing to be said about either of them, both staggeringly brilliant games that we were lucky to get on the same machine.Last edited by fishbowlhead; 05-10-2013, 16:08.
