I would of actually called an ambulance if you had preordered an Xbox One, not because of it's poor showing, but because it's you.The poor showing certainly didnt help. Well that and well you know.
hell I don't even need to say anything after yesterday that show and Betamax box spoke for itself

Nay , I can't be arsed with another racing game.
There is a large glimmer of hope for the games side of things though
15 exclusive games in the first 12 months, 8 of which are new IPs.
That leaves 7 existing IPs in the first 12 months, which in itself is exciting. Which ones?
The only downside is, could some of them potentially be less impactful XBLA titles?

Mellowed a bit since Yesterday. I still won't get one but that's because I barely played the 360. Xbox doesn't have the games I like. Or it didn't last time anyway.
I am very biased against Microsoft. I think it's because they don't hide their corporate it's all about the money attitude. I realise everyone else is no doubt the same but I think they manage to hide the fact better. So on blissful ignorance I'll probably get a ps4. Based on the enjoyment I got from ps3 and the fact that it's the most powerful bit mostly because I'm hoping for some surprising interesting games on the system. Xbone on the face of it seems like it's been designed to be an ea revenue stream. Would like to try the new kinect though!

If I open my optimism mind portions I'm hoping Rare's game is Day 1 and it's a new Banjo or something similar (seeing as the last gamd wasn't a horrendous bomb and was decent). I pray to god it doesn't turn out to be Killer Instinct which feels the likeliest candidate. I have nostalgia for the series like the next man but it was a product of its era and fighters aren't the sales force they once were bar SF4's popular run.

I am pretty surprised at how high people's expectations were for a hardware unveiling event. Whilst I've enjoyed some of Microsoft's first party software output in the past, it's never been the reason I own a 360, and I'm neither surprised or bothered that the only news on that front was to hang tight. Sony wheeling out Capcom, Square-Enix etc for the PS4 unveiling was more personally appropriate yes, but I also get why Microsoft instead opted for EA and the Call of Duty guys. Win over a big enough install base - which is exactly what I believe exclusive NFL, FIFA, CoD etc content will do - then I'm sure the developers closer to my own heart will want to be involved too.
My biggest concerns are around the the hurdles they're seemingly putting up for smaller-scale and indie games, and all of the lack of clarity around 'used games' scenarios. The idea of a disc-based game not just being locked to one console but to one profile is a proper kick in the balls, and I hope that this is just a result of people going out on the front-lines answering questions without being clear on the technicalities. I am fully expecting Sony to be equally **** on this front. On the plus side, I am hoping that by being draconian about second hand games, that region locking shouldn't be necessary - maybe too optimsistic though? 500gb seems fairly short-sighted given every game's supposedly going to install a Blu-Ray's worth of data, too.
I know I'll end up with one eventually, so will probably just do it at launch and enjoy having a new bit of kit to play with. I'll likely do the same with the PS4.

I find it odd that they are going so big on the TV aspect...not even my mum watches TV live anymore, its all either sky+ or catch up TV...and the Sky box works perfectly without plugging it into another box.
Myself...I want nothing to do with Kinect so won't be buying one. So it is looking like a PS4 for me.
