Like Sega went back and redesigned the Saturn? Look how that turned out. Third console curse. Xbox One is ****ed. No two ways about it.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Forza 5, Killer Instinct, Ryse and Dead Rising 3. The decision to buy rests on how badly I want to play these games.

Everything else lined up is either available on PS4 or coming late enough along the release schedule that the console might have taken an rrp hit like the original Xbox did due to falling sales.

PS4, without a doubt. **** Microsoft and their BS.

My alligence is with PS4 this time around. There are some interesting titles coming to Xbox One but as others have stated, all the hassle and restrictions on playing/trading have pushed me away and towards SONY who seem to be caring about their audience (who'd have thought that matters eh?)

Possibly, but would you trust them not to turn it all back on again down the line?

Oh I wouldn't forgive them. Just wondered if others would. Over the years MS have gradually got crapper and crapper at everything they do, culminating in the strategic train we see before us, but I realise others don't feel the same so I wondered if a "we got it wrong" apology and removal of all their drm plans would allow others to see XBox One in a new light or is the damage done and irreparable?

I haven't voted but it will be PS4 for me no questions.

I won't be buying at launch either as the current gen still has so much to keep me going that the need to upgrade just isn't there but eventually I'll be on the PS4

All I've read about the XB1 doesn't make me want one at all

                  Think I've voted wrong.

Said I was going to order an XBone before E3 but have now changed to PS4.

I was going to order an XBone before they announced their DRM, then....convinced Sony would do the same, I was going to order NEITHER.

But after E3, I am of course in the Sony Camp.

Probably should've paid for it, that's why Woolworths went under ha ha

If I had the money, I'd get them both. So far seems like I'll have to buy the PS4 first as I did with the PS3. I still lack that 360...

Well, I pre-ordered a PS4 as they JUST went up on Futureshop, but I'm fairly confident I'll be canceling a few weeks prior. I'm only really thinking about it for BF4, which I already have pre-ordered on PS3. I have enough PS3 games stacked up that I don't need to worry about it for a while.

Poll says it all. MS are trading on brand loyalty and have done nothing to actively win customers over, just laid down the law and expected people to jump on board.

Only one console lets you import and play the inevitable and eventual next gen EDF5

                            War over

Do you really expect a company as big as Microsoft to do this? Their arrogance means they won't succumb until the pressure reaches paramount levels (it hasn't yet).

I'd give them a deadline of September start to revise their policy, otherwise its going to stick. Then the Xbox One will fail within 3 years. Just a guess but going off of past console lifespans (or lack there of) that's how long it will take for the userbase to move away from their allegiance once they wake up and realise they're being mistreated heavily as consumers.

                              Preach over, just speculating...

@Paddy - Yes. It's not just that the PS4 has no DRM (which EVERYBODY hates the idea of). PS4 has faster RAM, a more powerful GPU and is ?80 cheaper. Everything about PS4 is better than Xbox one. Everything*. Only the staunchest of fanboys will pick Xbox over PS4 in order to get the exclusives. Microsoft MUST realise this. Delaying the inevitable would be a terrible idea.

Of course the minds at MS that went ahead with this in the first place baffle me so who knows what they'll do.

*On paper. I'm going by system specs and assuming the stuff about the Xbox cloud rendering things offline is total bollocks (which it is).
