WiiU killer app for me is 90's Arcade Racer. Although it is coming to iOS as well.

If I'd to pick one it'd be TW101, followed by Pikmin 3. 2014 will bring Bayonetta 2.

TW101 looks like a bit of a mess to me, good studio behind it but not sold on the game yet. Pikmin holds no interest. Bayonetta on the other hand...yeah probably the closest to a killerapp, but not buying a system for it! Zelda I've already played and Mario 3D looks like a huge step backwards from Galaxy!

Ok, so I just realised that Win8 has a bunch of streaming stuff built in that does not need Windows Media Center to be running. So over lunchtime I uninstalled TVersity and enabled the Win8 media streaming options. Now the Xbox happily streams my vids with a folder browser front end and thumbnail images, without any extra software running. Amazing. TVersity never had the thumbs either. Looks like I'll be Xbox360 first with BF4 to tide me over until some interesting stuff arrives and a PS4 later.

Ah, I thought your poll was "which one will you pick up at launch" so I just clicked Xbox. I'm fairly certainly I'll get a PS4 at a later date. The PS3 was the first Sony console I've not owned.

Already have a WiiU, so it'll be PS4 and Xbox One now that the DRM requirement has been dropped. Forza 5 initially for Xbox One, not sure what yet for PS4.

November might be an expensive month.

I wasn't interested in next-gen.

Then I saw the PS4 presentation and I was really tempted!

Then I realised I have a stack of 360 games to work through, I'm adding every PS+ game that is free and barely touched the PS3 back-catalogue.

I'm not fussed about the shiny shiny. Amazing graphics, 1080p and 60fps don't interest me and I've not played anything online for about a year. I also like the large choice of 2nd-hand games at bargain prices that this gen offers.

Put it all together, I'd be a buffoon to buy a new console...

...and yet I can hear the Siren's call luring me to the rocks.

I won't buy one on release (at least I don't think so) but the only option for me will be PS4. Nintendo consoles have had no major interest for me since the Super Famicom, I skipped the Wii and DS altogether and will do the same with the Wii-U. Though there were games I loved on the N64 and GC, I'm talking minimal amounts, so I don't look back on them massively fondly either. Microsoft, well, they've just done pretty much everything they can to piss me off console wise, so I doubt I would buy another system made by them. So yeah, PS4 it is.

I voted for none of them. There simply isn't enough games I'm interested in on any of the systems to make me buy one.

Ditto. I'll probably pick up a Wii U/PS4 combo at some point in the future, but for now I simply have no interest in the next gen at all.

I think of the past generation, and think about how each system had unmissable games like Gears of War, or Uncharted 2, or Super Mario Galaxy.

Theres only one option, and that's to own every console.

Already got a Wii U and will pick up one of the others further down the line. At the moment I am very much leaning towards the PS4 but the software doesn't interest me currently, so buying at launch is unlikely.

So you've never played Mario Galaxy?! It's the most creative game I've ever played (more importantly, it's pure fun). worth owning a wii just for Galaxy 1 and 2.

Fair enough, but I'd put money down that Galaxy 1 & 2 would convert you (I'll lend you a wii if I have to!)

When I played these for the first time, I had the same thought going through my head (over and over again) "how will Nintendo ever top this?" - After watching this year's E3...looks like they won't The depressing thing is, I'm playing galaxy 1 & 2 on the WiiU right now.

That would be money you would lose then buddy. Same applies to most Nintendo IP's for me, which is why I don't buy their systems.
