PSN Store Updates: Thread 02

I'm sure you know, but the version on the US PSN store is the PAL release anyway.

Good call though. I'm tempted to get the PAL version to go with my NTSC-J version.

Yeah, I just want it on my PAL account since that is where all of my Vita purchases are and I want it on PS3 and Vita. I'm surprised that Sony still haven't patched out the one account per Vita memory card restriction yet

It doesn't work with mp3s on your Vita. It is the PS1 ROM so it only works with CDs in the PS3. Seen people bitching and whining about the lack of PS4 version and minor quibbles. It is a ROM that is being sold as part of the PS1 Classics section of the store you morons. What do you expect?

I'm picking up the PAL release next week.

Eurgh. What the hell is going on with PSN plus on PS4 lately? These last two months of free games have been awful!

I thought the same, grabbed all three games on Wednesday and not played one yet, checked out the reviews and all seem 7/10 material but just don't appeal to me personally, bar Spelunky which I will give a go over the weekend.
Looking at the list, the last game I really enjoyed (bar Strider which I already owned) was Dead Nation back in March in fact loved every game up until March then it's just meh really.

Pix the Cat is a GOTY contender, perfect Vita game.
It has a puzzle game mode unlockable, so 2 games in one.
Also it's made by PastaGames, who created Maestro a Jump in Misic for DS, so they have my attention straight away for that alone.

Dust and Spelunky are still amazing games, even if I personally got them years ago, I still highly recommended both. Especially portable Spelunky for that daily fix.

Anyways, PS+ I very much see it as you get what you're given, literally take it or leave it free games.
Personally think this months are better than last months.

Driveclub was suppose to launc PS+ edition on Wednesday but they delayed it because of server issues with the retail copy.

Same. Looking forward to trying Dust: An Elysian Tale later on today.

Dust is great. Good humour in there and a lovely full res and 60. Same with rainbow Moon although I'm playing that on vita.

They have not, yet.
Woluld think next week sometime, once the servers settle and get back to normal, whatever normal is. Of course launching a free demo that uses those servers won't kill it again.

That's the PS+ edition full game upgrade.
So it's basically become the PS+ discount price since there is no PS+ version of the game, yet.

Did someone mention Dust Elysian Tale? Just had a look on PSN and it isn't there. Are you guys on the American PSN?
