Giant Bomb were asking and also I'm not sure. I you delete a game from the PS4 dash/main srceen does it keep the save data? I'm under the impression it does. But where is the save data on PS4? On PS3 it was in Save data utility.

The weak rubber on the sticks is my only worry...a real pet hate after the razer xbox pad.
If there is a real problem with the rubber my pad will disintegrate within hours. You should see the ms comfort mouse on my desk. My hands must sweat acid.

Held a Dual Shock 4 yesterday. It feels so tiny compare to the 3; bloody comfy though.

Today and tomorrow were always going to be the hardest days as I have long shifts to work. Once tomorrow is done there'll only be 19 hours of shift work between me and my PS4!

PS+ will sync it to the cloud automatically.

Same day as me wasn't it Mike? After Hoolak was all "launch day confirmation after one day".

That's why I went with Shopto in the first place. That and I hate GAME something fierce.

Yep, think so. Just have the longest week long wait left now

                  Question about the PS4 controller:
Can you use it "wired" like you could on PS3? In that if you plug it in via USB cable it will work via the cable, rather than wirelessly, and also not draining the battery?

How does the controller function in this regard?

Yes, it's the same as PS3 although it only has an 8 hour battery life so it might be worth investing in a charging dock to save hassle.

Well, if I play with it wired up all the time, probably no need. I've not unplugged my PS3 pad in the 5+ years I've owned it.

It's not like the gap between me and my PS3 is a walkway. I like the feeling of being tethered.

Ah ok. Yeah should be fine then.

                            Ugh. Cheezy pads. Lol

Imagine a future E3 new console unveil. "and what's more, DualShock5 features anti-cheese tech materials".

I'd be all over it like a rat on my ds3.

Is 8 hours play on the controllers really that bad? I keep seeing it pointed out... Do any of you actually sit on the consoles longer in one session? When you're done gaming do you just throw it aside?

I always take my pad and settle it next to the PS3 and with the PS4 still charging pads while in standby it can't be much of a hassle to just plug it in. If my pad dies mid game I just pick up another one and continue gaming...
