It appears single player has a lower frame rate to accommodate enhanced graphics. They will have targeted 30fps but left it unlocked so it will have a higher frame rate when things aren't as busy. I think for consistency a locked 30fps would be better.

For SP I would never normally wish to have unlocked, unless it's almost always 60fps and just drops to 30-45 very occasionally. Hope we can limit this the options like we could with Bioshock on console.Originally posted by CMcK View PostComment

Finally got the email from Tesco on how to order and pay for my pre-order. They offer only the Killzone bundle as an alternative to the solus set. ?385 top price but after the ?20 pre order I already paid and staff discount it's working out at ?328.50. So its paid and now the wait till release can really begin for me

Man that looks good but I still get that hokey generic vibe from Killzone. Tried 2-3 on PS3 and found them very average.
Reminds me of Crysis in that regard. Technically amazing but lacking overall.
Still it's very flash and easily the best looking game on the PS4 for launch.Comment

The FOV was a bit odd. It made me feel almost motion sick. The graphics were not as good as some of the bullshots either. Is the video compressed somehow?
KZ2 had massive open maps that I loved. (Didn't play KZ3 online.) Will those style return, or will it just me COD style corridors like the video?
KZ4 was my most anticipated game, the video made me feel "meh".

This for me is what could be the biggest draw to PS4 over Xbox One, the off screen play. Just something i would like to know, as the off screen play is done over Wifi, would i in theory be able to leave the PS4 on at my house and take my Vita over to the mrs place 30 miles away and using her Wifi play the PS4? In theory yes. Whether it performs well I.e no noticeable lag, I don't know as I haven't tried. I recently set my Vita up to remote play my PS3. On starting the function, you are asked whether you want to connect via wifi LAN or Internet. I tried once to connect via internet from work, but couldn't get a connection. Sony say it's possible to play remote play on your Vita anywhere.
But they made a point of saying:
1. It works best when PS4 is connected to the internet via ethernet cable.
2. It works best when the Vita is on the same network/access point.
Which makes me think it won't be very robust outside of your own home. If that wasn't the case, why were they making such a big point of it.
But...we will see. I'm sure it will be miles better than any PS3/Vita connectivity though.Comment
