Sony say it's possible to play remote play on your Vita anywhere.

But they made a point of saying:

1. It works best when PS4 is connected to the internet via ethernet cable.
2. It works best when the Vita is on the same network/access point.

Which makes me think it won't be very robust outside of your own home. If that wasn't the case, why were they making such a big point of it.

But...we will see. I'm sure it will be miles better than any PS3/Vita connectivity though.

It should be fine within your own home. I played PS3 Shadow of the Colossus on the Vita using remote play and it was perfectly fine. The PS4 remote play can only be better.

I think their overall point is that performance will be worse if you, for example, try to play a game over the internet using Weatherspoons free WiFi.

Yeah, you'd think that would be a given...but I suppose it isn't for most people? Just thought it was odd that Sony specifically highlighted it.

Personally, I'll more than happy if it just works with the majority of PS4 titles over my home wifi. I'm interested to know whether you can assign the rear touch pad to house the L2/R2 buttons. At the moment on PS3 it seems like I am restricted to using their SELECT button +L/R options only. Not really good for fast paced FPS or say, FIFA.

This is exactly my thoughts, at first didnt pay much attention to the detail but when i started thinking about it the possibilities are quite brilliant, from taking the Vita over to the girlfriends house and playing my library of PS4 games or even the chance of being able to take the Vita away on holiday and providing the hotel has decent Wifi connection its just like taking the PS4 on holiday too. Im hoping as long as there is decent and fast Wifi at both ends it will work just as well if next to each other.

Reviews of the latest Call of Duty
video game have reported problems with the graphics on the PlayStation 4 edition

Testers said that its frame rate dropped at several points during the game

If you are a serious COD fan, then I would imagine that either Xbox360 or XB1 are the way to go, where 60fps are assured. PC gamers are also having stutter issues, even in the menus!

its probably already been fixed with a day one patch i imagine the PC patch will be in the works too time will tell i suppose

I really enjoyed COD4, but haven't played since then. So COD Ghosts isn't on my "must have" list, but it is a shame such a high profile game will dissapoint PS4 owners (Framerate) and XB1 owners (720p.)

I REALLY wish I hadn't bought early access to this because it's so god damn boring. Even in multiplayer.

Kill people, farm materials for crafting, craft new guns, shoot people some more, rinse and repeat. I'm seriously hoping that's just because it's early access.

Just isn't as exciting as the visuals make it look like it could be.
