Think I am either going Watchdogs pack to save ?7 on my current order or just go mad and get the Adrenaline pack.

Had my order confirmed as a day one launch from Shopto a couple of weeks back, since getting that I have had numerous emails about upgrading the order to one of their bundles. Sadly none of the bundles interest me all that much. Don't have any need for a 2nd controller as I'm an antisocial git who plays alone and the camera will serve me no purpose at all. I think it would be a lot better if you could mix up you're own. Currently waiting on contact from Tesco about another preorder I made. They say they can't tell me anything till the end of the month as regards to honouring a day one delivery. It will be interesting to see if they offer any changes to an order regarding upgrades. Would prefer to have it from Tesco as the staff discount with them would certainly help towards getting another couple of titles.

GAME have done this before. Particularly when consoles were in extremely high demand and I can remember the PS2 and Wii being sold in this manner. That said I can't remember an instance of GAME doing this on pre-orders, i.e. I was able to pre-order solus PS2, Wii, DS Lite etc. when they came out and was not 'forced' into spending more just to secure the original pre-order.

Personally never used Simply Games and following on from this wouldn't want to. Great they've been named and shamed in this manner.

I went for the Killzone/Need for Speed Bundle in the end for ?429...plus my ?47 Watchdogs. Have a Battlefield 4 for ?40 too but think I will get rid of that before the big day.

Got the email from Amazon too, asking to select a bundle. Went with the Killzone, extra controller and camera deal. Was planning on picking up the camera and extra pad a bit later, but this bundle saves about ?50 which technically means if I pay now, I get Killzone for free. Not my top pick of game to be honest, I'll be getting Black Flag and Watch Dogs a bit later when I've finished AC. Will games inside the bundle box come sealed?

Any of those aware of the dirty shenanigans SimplyGames have been up to, you might be surprised to hear that GAME have now gotten into the act.

The GAME store St Peter At Arches in Lincoln phoned my friend a few days ago to tell him that he had to upgrade to a bundle in order to keep his preorder of his solus PS4. He basically had to agree to upgrade the order to include Watch Dogs despite already preordered Battlefield 4 with them.

Personally, I find it despicable to treat the consumer in such a way. It is simply nickel 'n diming for the sake of it. Simply trying to capitalize on the sake of peoples preorders.

I just upgraded my amazon order to PS4 with 2 pads, camera, killzone and fifa for ?489. Quite a saving over my shopto order, just means having Killzone over BF4

There is no reason why it wouldn't be. There's literally zero point in SCE producing PSU's with different requirements over a single 100V-250V unit.
