This is precisely the point. I'll get both consoles in time but at launch it was always going to be the Xbox One. Killzone doesn't interest me at all and very little else for that matter. For others though it's the completely opposite opinion which is fair enough.

Big shame about Drive Club but there is still plenty of decent titles in the PS4 line up. In fact I think its fair to say on either platform its the 3rd party titles that are most interesting anyway. BF4 and ACIV for me!

        For and against time

        For PS4
        PlayStation plus
        more indie games
more powerfull out of the box
        cheaper

        Against ps4
untested network and no info on dedicated servers
slow patching on ps3 will this continue?
        lack of exclusives at launch

        For Xbox One
More choice of exclusives at launch (Ryse, dead rising ect)
        Dedicated servers for online play
        fast downloads and patching

        Against Xbox One
        Price
Less powerful out fo the box
xbox live games for gold is a joke and no news of this for xbox one
        Microsoft forcing kinect
        13 year old Americans

Sony have already said that the PS4 has a seperate chip system dedicated to background DL so as the issues from PS3 do not carry over.

A dedicated background downloading chip wont sort out bandwidth issues if there servers are still slow as dead dog.

It takes me twice as long to download a gig from Playstation network as it dose from live.

No explanation yet as to what this means.

Really interesting u say that because I actually find PSN downloads stuff much quicker than Xbox Live. Maybe something to do with the broadband connection?

They've confirmed now that they don't mean Gaikai streaming of the content.

Don't see how they could achieve this through emulation due to the differences between both platforms, I just don't see how they could hope to emulate stuff like Uncharted 3. The rumours seem to suggest that you can recompiling PS3 code to play on the PS4, nothing confirmed though.

I just don't see how it can be true but it's massive if they've managed to do this.

I thought this had been mentioned already that via Gaikai everything would be accessible that way at least in terms of games. I think it was a given movies etc would as it's kind of like saying when you upgrade iTunes you would lose all of your content, so it's not huge news really.

Where is this confirmed that it is running locally on the machine for games?

Who on earth would follow Game in Basildon on twitter anyway ?

I'm going to follow 'Next' in Portsmouth... they give great tweats.

I seriously doubt that Sony have full backwards compatibility in the PS4 and forgot to mention it. Even if it is a form of recompilation like MS did with the 360 that's a lot of work for little financial gain.
Do peeps not remember how quickly BC was ditched then generation? I'm skeptical that the Cell processor could be emulated properly on the AMD APU.
