Not sure if it has been posted about already but Polygon gave the PS4 a review score of 7.5.

They are a bunch of hipsters though.

Why? It's just an opinion. Honestly, some of you are acting like it's the end of the world if every site and mag gives it a lower score, console or games, than what you expect. Maybe it isn't the best thing since the wheel? Maybe it's just pretty good at the moment until more games get going?

I've stuck more to following forums today to see what peeps thoughts are now its in hands rather than relying on the reviews and their various politics. Overall opinion seems positive, Killzone seems to be going down well as is the ease of use of the system. Bar a couple of niggles at first with PSN getting hammered on logins it sounds painless and quick including the Day One Update for the system which is reassuring.

Yeah i have been doing the same, i put far more stock into the opinions of people who actually part with their own money for the console and games. I do like to read review sites but i dont buy games acording to the score a certain site may give. I know my own mind and i know what i like, if im having any kinds of doubts this forum is always my first port of call because i know i will get honest opinion from you guys.

Gamers are often an excitable bunch though and I doubt even the most ardent Xbox gamer wold deny that this time around Sony have had the better PR by quite some margin. That's bound to be picked up on in forums, not just gaf.

I wasn't prepared for greatness, thus I'm waiting til after Christmas for a PS4.
Had a go on a PS4 yesterday and was actually dissapointed the pad didn't feel significantly different as I had been led to believe.
Good news if you always thought the DS pads were perfect.

Dunno about perfect but yeah, I always liked them (DS3). TBH the DS4 didn't really look all that different to me anyway.
