Why? It's just an opinion. Honestly, some of you are acting like it's the end of the world if every site and mag gives it a lower score, console or games, than what you expect. Maybe it isn't the best thing since the wheel? Maybe it's just pretty good at the moment until more games get going?

Overreaction much? I love how you jumped to the conclusion that I was butt hurt about the review and favouring one side over the other.
Pay attention to this next bit:

I was more getting at the fact that why bother reviewing a new console at all? It's all about the games and when there are only 3 consoles about anyway then what is the point?

Edit: This was my first post in the Next Gen Hype forum and it proves why I was keeping well away from it!

They don't just review the PS4 as a games console though they review the whole package and what it brings to the table. The PS4 is more focused towards gaming and in that sense that score is right, if you want a great games machine that 7.5 is more like a 9, that's my take on it anyway.

I really can't believe how much hype that Spike TV thing got! They are still announcing some things at the VGAs though aren't they...probably when Microsoft will do theirs but it will be interesting to see if their (MS) launch party has a better reveal than the expected Uncharted tease.

Solid 30fps @ 1080 confirmed by the developers. I think 30 is fine for games like this.

I thought Watch Dogs, Destiny and MGS were June. The launch window doesn't stretch that far surely? If so that is a pretty big window.

Watch_Dogs, MGS V and Destiny are all down as Spring 2014.

Spring is March, April, May if my Googling is to be bbelieved.

Launch window is first 6 months after launch (according to Nintendo).

I'm happy with that.

'Launch window' is a marketing term made up so that hardware manufacturers could boast about a larger number of launch games than they actually have. It doesn't actually mean anything.

I would be amazed if MGSV is out at all in 2014. Isnt The Crew supposed to be out in Spring time? That is one racer i really cannot im really looking forward to.
