I was mildly interested in this when it was announced but Inafune's behaviour has put me off it completely. Really shocking way to abuse your fans.

I think it's just that they keep asking for more money, and the development has been protracted, despite them being seasoned developers.

All of the above and it looks like horse crap. Really disappointing if you ask me...

Is a bit of a pisstake asking for yet more money to make DLC when you haven't even released the main game.

I find this stuff (along with Molyneux) is really making me doubt (or, well, proving my deep-seated cynicism) about the idea of "industry figures". More and more I'm starting to think that those people the industry used to see as their idols and darlings really just stood on the work of the talented people beneath them.

It makes me less worried about, for instance, Kojima leaving Konami.

Still not that impressed with this the new trailer is very slick but what little game footage is actually included looks so so. What really concerns me is the same people who did this kick starter are doing the one for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, it's also some of the same dev team. But yes it said it all about Inafune and Koji Igarashi if they hire a company to run their kickstarter campaign instead of seeking real investors.

They have sought real investors for years but have been knocked back as their genres no longer appeal widely enough, hence the kickstarters. Thought this was well known. Indeed, Igarashi says this very amusingly in his kickstarter vid.

Well, at least they've given themselves some more time to fix the multiplayer issues.

                              Wait, what?

Who wanted multiplayer in a classic-style platformer?!

Yeah, didn't even think of that.

Still waiting for my BACKER REWARD.
