Well atleast they want a polished game and I bet some tracks will be broken down to make smaller tracks.
The standard PS2 cars in GT5 didn't go down well and it sounds like they're doing this again in GT6?Comment

Personally I think they are taking the right approach, make the game properly rather than cram in a load of weaker content. However the cynic in me thinks many are done but saved for DLC.
Most of my favourite cars in GT5 didn't have the full dash setup which made them feel rather redundant. However 200 cars, I hope to see at least one of the major 90's Japanese sports cars but I have a feeling there won't be as many.Comment

I've never really been that into car games but that trailer and some of the other videos I've been seeing have looked really good, but I think I tried a Forza demo a while ago at one point or a friends copy and didn't really like what I played.
How likely do you guys think I'll be to like it if I've liked PGR3/4 (really liked these despite thinking I'd hate them), Burnout 3/ Revenge (Loved both of these), Ridge Racer 6 (Loved this too) and bits and pieces of Need for Speed? (Obviously I didn't originally give it THAT much of a chance). Does it compare well to PGR? That seems to be the game it's most like than any of the ones I listed.
Looks really good from the videos but I'm skeptical. Still, it's free!Comment

It's more sim than PGR and has majority of real tracks, though this version has Prague which actually DOES remind me completely of PGR4. If you're more into arcade you can turn on a number of assists to make it easier & there are also numerous fun modes like cat & mouse etc... Forza 4 also had Car soccer for instance, not sure if that's still in this but the top gear licence also gives it the top gear test track and there were cone challenges and stuff like that.Comment

1080 @ 60 only possible on XBox One thanks to the cloud. An actual viable use of cloud computing resources. Good stuff.
Does that mean that if you're playing without an internet connection then you get a lower framerate, lower resolution or less cars on the track I wonder?Comment

I do wonder how much of that is PR bull**** and how much is real.
I'm sure certain overheads are pushed cloud side but what does that mean for people who are not connected? GT5 & GT6 do 60FPS at 1080p on last generation hardware and Forza 4 was close at 60FPS at 720p on similar specs too.Comment
