After Fight Night Round 3 last gen I expected EA to come out strong with the sports series but they seem to have only bothered with Fifa. If my XBO comes in under budget I'll prob give 2K14 a punt

Been into Gamestation and they just laughed at my lack of preorder. Apparently if I preorder now I may get one for Christmas.
PS4 if I preorder I may get one for february 0_o

The Hut was mentioned a few pages ago for having stock - was this confirmed?
Can't see it even listed on Asda and Tesco are showing unavailable (because it hasn't launched yet). Anywhere else?

i reckon if you go around Tesco and Adsa on Friday you'll get a launch machine as supermarkets get allocated units that are for the shelf maybe a handful or so but there will be stock maybe Argos or currys.
When the 360 launched I was chasing one for launch day and Comet had one as it was on a retail park in the sticks but I got one

Always worth a launch day early morning wander too. I didn't preorder the 360 at launch and got mine from Game on the morning on release due to limited 'off the shelf' stock

Maybe they are just underwhelming full stop. You can't blame cross-gen bridging for average game play.

Or maybe the general public just doesn't care about pure gameplay the way some of us do, most people are far more interested in having their hand held along a set path while fireworks go off and other flashy things whizz around them while hundreds of achievements unlock, HEY look your doing so well the screen blurbs.

Face it, the likes of us are dinosaurs, playing dmc, god hand, gradius5, ikaruga, W101, for hundreds of hours just to master them isn't what makes companies profit nowadays. We should just count our chickens for the few games like that we do get.
