Reviews are going live for Ryse, only read the Eurogamer one. Scores a somewhat varied, some 5's,6's and 7's. To be honest this has done nothing to put me off, the game is what it is and i just know im going to enjoy it. If you accept what the game is then maybe it will be a much more enjoyable experiance. Roll on tomorrow.

I played Bloodrayne and enjoyed it. Since Ryse is not just about QTEs, maybe it will be fun. Hmmm. No. I think Bloodrayne will still be better.Comment

Game seek has dispatched my copy so I'm not put off with the reviews as I wasn't expecting 8 or 9 but I'll play through it

Gameseek with their XMAS voucher , create a new account and use it . Watched the ign review it sounds like a typical launch game , flashy and fun but lacks depth .Comment

Kotaku seem to think there's alot of depth there if you put enough time into learning the combo system. Sounds like a typical reviewer trade off where you get back what you put into it.Comment

Kotaku reviews are weird and often full of strange anomalies, yes and no is far to simple a premises to review a game on what dose a yes equate to
YES = 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
No = 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

I don't think with game reviewers 5 is a yes, more a minimum standard.
< 3 = "under no circumstances buy this"
3 - 5 = "we warned you"
6 - 7 = "if you're a fan of the franchise/genre go ahead"
