Sounds like the AI is indeed drivatards. That aside it sounds like a really good racing game but I admit that I am pleased that EG have marked it down for the nickel and diming (if it really is that intrusive) as this might send a message out. If GT6 does the same then that must also be marked down for this practice.

the week so far has been Biblical heres how i see things standing

on the third day Kinect and dashboard spread themselves bare and showed that perhaps the world was not ready for this American silver tongued prince wearing the skinned corpse's of Metritus and kinectus! but then is the fault really with us.

but who is this speeding over the horizon Forzina the god of speed so fast and a day ahead of schedule with her dazzling marvelous rainbow coat blinding those who stare to long. But what is this some unbelievers speak of Micro Transaction, and poor cloud Ai ,and car packs that cost many gold coins. much bickering and umming was heard through the Land.

Then BOOM like a lighting strike from heaven Ryse arrives and its beauty causes men to fall to there knees and weep. But all is not right for it is a hollow affair and much repetition causes men to become tired and fatigued for Ryse is not a gift from god but a trick from Hades ryse is the devourer and those poor souls who escape run screaming into the distance wailing for a Titan to come and save them.

Not sure if this has a long term impact but Kinect is region specific meaning that games utilising it for commands are kind of region locked to the region the device comes from

Why would a box be region specific? Does it not have firmware upgrades for the kinect?

I thought the language used in Kinect was tied to the country of your Gamertag not the console.

Either way it doesn't affect import games, The C&VG title is a little misleading as its implying import consoles for the 'tier 2' countries that don't have a release date of the 22nd.

That's a strange thing to say as somebody who has bought Battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3...

I don't get the EG review slating IAP and grinding for cars when it's been in the last two Forza games as well.

You could always buy Forza tokens using real money or XP multipliers to speed the grind up. So why slate this for being the same? In a couple of other reviews they also mention you can pick a handful of exotic cars in free mode to race with so its not like they're all locked for quick play... It just doesn't reward you with free cars after a series like before.

I'm guessing that design decision is because there are less cars to choose from and they give you XP now based on how your Drivitar plays when your offline.

As for that AI handling bad. How many decent Drivitar AI do they have in the cloud right now? How many by next week when the petrol heads get stuck in? I appreciate there's some erratic AI which goes a bit to far but then unpredictable is the entire point.

All up it sounds bloody marvellous. I cannot wait to race an F1 car around Spa with that engine noise thumping and haptic feedback coming through the triggers. I feel most of the negatives are insignificant.

The lack of tracks is the one biggest issue. Long term I'd be hoping for the return of some that are missing. Or whole new ones.
