Oh man, I'm so tempted to get the sexy White Xone with Sunset Overdrive, especially as its ?309 @ gamestop right now:

Not sure what I think of Sunset Overdrive tho. It looks like a cross between Jet Set Radio & Saints Row 3/4. Looks a lot of fun but the visuals look a little iffy. Anyone had a blast on a beta version of this at E3 or somewhere?

Did read over the weekend that there is no exclusivitiy deal from Microsoft on SO for the X Box One, beyond the devs doing it that way at present, so it may end up on PS4 at some point, don't know how true that all is.

Yeah had a romp on the chaos mode at Gamescom, the mode is a mixture of real time tower defence as you can place and move traps around the level, coupled with the gameplay of hoard mode, enemies rushing and bosses, having to defend two zones from being destroyed.
Was a bit chaotic with 8 players, explosions everywhere, swinging about and grinding on lines. I can imagine it could get a bit repetitive in this mode if your just playing with randoms but this is only the multiplayer mode and they have said there is a full free roam single player campaign.
That price is pretty good, although I had heard it was a digital copy of sunset overdrive.

Microsoft are publishing it and Insomniac own the IP, so there is the possibility the franchise could come to another platform at some point. I can't imagine that MS would have paid in for it without a significant lead on that though.

I do love Insomniac and I like the style but I still feel a little hesitant about SO. It has an air about it that it might get old quickly and their last non-Sony game was... best left alone. So I don't know if this will be better left till it goes cheap or good enough for day one.

I'm really tempted by the SO bundle, but still wondering on whether i should be buying a PS4 instead.

The PS4 has more grunt & better visuals (apparently), but there's a lot that's putting me off.

The Xone's controller just feels so comfy in my hands & the analog sticks don't wear thru in 2 wks , & the online side is much more reliable & stable. Plus I do love my 360 .

Make a list of the games you want to play on each and if they aren't exclusive then figure out how much the slight gfx difference will make to the lists and then do a little dance and toss a coin

This is probably a dumb question for most but since there is no XBoxOne in Japan just yet I was wandering if someone could tell my if running a 360 through the XBoxOne's HDMI will effect the image quality or is it a pure pass through? Also will the XBoxOne need to be powered on or will it work in sleep/Standby mode?

It didn't effect picture quality from what I could tell BUT there is clear input lag, I couldn't really tell on some games but then I played Battleblock Theatre, expert levels, a precision jump I just couldn't do it I kept dying due to that small tiny bit of input lag, so I just plugged my TV through hdmi in instead.

If you use HDMI IN you will have to power on Xbox One to play the pass through device.

In other news, Warframe (F2P) has just launched today on Xbox One alongside Dance Central Spotlight (?7.99) tonight.

Hmm, that's not ideal then. Hmm, I'll just use the same HMDI port for the 360 as the lap top and switch cables between the two. Such a pain "Only" having 4 HDMI ports on the TV.

I also note you can now purchase from Hong Kong marketplace now and the prices are substantially cheaper. I picked up Diablo 3 and BF4 cheap.
