PTE52: Playstation Vita - Two Years On

I do want a Vita but the graphics in most games don't impress me much. I will always think the resolution is too high for the power of it. I find games like Sonic Racing, Most Wanted and some of the fighters look flat and cheap.

Killzone however looks incredible. A proper Vita game and not a quick port.

I've got one and had one since launch but I hardly use it and generally use it to get updates or download freebies from my playstation plus account

So I would have voted something like got it and rarely use it or use it occasionally - 3DS has a better draw for me

I did play a little bIt of tear away (demo) the other day and thought that was pretty good but also played WRC4 (demo) but I won't be buying that at all, game looks lovely but my hands were aching after the second course and it was a fiddle to play

Absolutely love mine. Virtua Tennis 4 for about ?7 is the best money you can spend on a game such fun. Killzone is ridiculously good long may it continue.

The resolution is a curious thing. The resolution is indeed rather high and was presumably chosen because it is exactly half of 1080, but it does have it's benefits. It makes it more suitable for PS4 remote play when you take into account the downscaling, and it is nice to play Phantasy Star Online 2 without the HUD having to be simplified from the PC version..

Virtua Tennis 4 for about ?7...

Now just under a fiver on Amazon - I picked one up last week. Looking forward to playing it over Christmas, along with Tearaway and Everybody's Golf.

Katamari and Muramasa = love.
PS+ giving me every other game released is very nice too.

I really want KZ for mine, but a bit too pricey at the moment. Virtua Tennis for a fiver though! I will have some of that!

I still love my launch UK Vita, loads of amazing games for it, but the real sting is those MASSIVE Vita card prices still. I think still a lot of people are put off by this.

Yes you're right, though you can get a 16GB card and 10 download games for ?25 from Shopto last time I looked. It's the bigger sized ones where they really take the pee, I bought a Sandisk 32GB Micro SD card for ?14 delivered earlier in the week.

Do regret parting with my Vita about six months ago now, wasn't too much out for it I was interested in at the time.

Killzone tearaway and netflix. Urban freestyle, a clone in the dark. Persona 4. Ace machine. Ps4 remote play too.

Really wish they still did comics on there like they did for psp.
