Yeah to be clear, I don't think they would or even should drop it to ?150 for a bundle. Just saying I reckon that'd be the tipping point based on no real knowledge of the industry whatsoever ;-)

?199 is the sweet spot IMO. Sweet enough to get consoles under TVs then hopefully you can being to re-coup on software sales past and to come.

Ive seen the phrase "Lateral Thinking with Withered Technology" a few times today in regards to how Nintendo approaches console design they used very old tech to make the Gameboy, and by doing this they brought out a product that was cheap had good battery life was fun and was desirable. Sega and Atari failed to grasp these principles with the game gear and the lynx thinking bigger and better would win the day.

Likewise the Wii took this approach to its design ignoring what the 360 and PS3 where doing and they made it work though good publicity and a cleaver gimmick. The wiiu is nintendos misstep though its stlll using the "Lateral Thinking with Withered Technology" idea but the consumer perceives it is "a wii with a screen on a game pad" and wonders why the game-pad has added 150 to the price tag, i believe if Nintendo had just released a HD console at ?150 we would all be looking at things a lot differently now

Think it depends on thickness of walls and stuff.
Mine doesn't work in the lounge (mores the pity!)

That's what I mean, mine struggle after about 10 feet. ie from the lounge in to the kitchen through an open doorway.

I just plug it in wherever I'm sat. It's hardly supposed to be a handheld.

The supplied cable is laughably short though. I have to use a USB extender.

Plug sockets are the other side of the room that bigger battery looks the ticket though

Yeah, but then people would complain about the price even more, when it would be 20 quid more expensive.

I don't know, personally I don't really play several hour marathons anymore, I usually play about an hour at a time max, so I can keep the tablet in the charger when I'm not using it and play with charger wire if it's an absolute necessity.
