Part of me really wants their E3 to be Reggie on camera, saying "IS YOUR BODY READY" before a trailer, 30 minutes long with several minutes of game footage plays consecutively for a load of games. New Zelda! Starfox! An exclusive Resident Evil! A Mario 64 sequel/remake! F-Zero Infinite Velocity! More footage of X! Several new IPs! A new Metroid Prime-esque game! A new Nights which isn't like the ****ty Wii one! Then Reggie drops the mic and walks off.

Right now the only games on the machine I'm interested in are Mario Kart 8 and Mario 3D World (and I already have a 3DS with 3D Land)

To be fair, 3D World is an awesome game and completely distinct from 3D Land. If you're a fan of 3D platformers you must try and play it at some point as it's superb.

I hate 'purchase defenders', but for me my Wii U was worth it for 3D World and MK8. They're the only games I own so far (I've owned the system since 3D World came out in November '13). At the price I paid for the system and software it works out that I've paid ?125 to play each game. That to me is weirdly worth it because I love both games so much.

I guess it's more that if I didn't own the system I'd just be so gutted I couldn't play either of them, it's better that I just have it!

If Nintendo want third parties on board they need to stop making first party software, or stop making it as good as it is. No one wants to compete alongside that. It's like my wife vs. Mike Tyson.

They are so tight with cash it just isn't funny. Quick example:

Guy I know had a supermarket space that he rented at 40k a month.
Dude offers him 38k.
He refuses.
No rent for 3 months (114k lost)
Finally signs at 40k.
Me - You lost 114k??
Him - I won.

Conclusion - Rich. Moron.

Landlady reckons she just signed a 12-month extension on the 3G, and there's no way to upgrade it for at least another year. Bull****. It's crazy when I'm offering to pay for everything myself which everyone living here would benefit greatly from.

No surprises there, then. Tight as **** they are. And, how much would that even cost them? Hell, my 500Mbps was FREE, 70 a month and included 3 pieces of hardware worth at least 350.

Anyone know what happens if you break your Gamepad. Mine is fine. You can't buy them instore?

Nope. They aren't available for separate purchase. It's the main reason I use mine lightly.

I'm sure if you phoned up Nintendo support they'd flog you a replacement. But I'm guessing they'd probably charge you about a hundred quid.

Well they are part of the console, as in they are not sold seperately, so it's only natural that they'd be region locked. It's not like people are going to be buying them separately to send abroad. I bet no one has ever done that.
