Just wondering what the community on here thought of this.
I bought PES 2014 just after launch on the PC and was banned around 1 month ago for 'intentional worsening of connection' to win games.
Now, I know this may fall on hollow ears to the skeptical, but I 100% promise you, that no cheating of any kind has ever taken place on my PES account. I can't stress that enough. Whether you believe me or not, if you can just assume this is true for the purpose of the thread.
The full story:
I was playing the game pretty intensely, and was very high up in the rankings. I absolutely loved it and every spare moment I had was spent playing the game.
I logged in one day to find I was banned.
I contacted Konami.
They informed me that 'due to user reports', I had been banned for 'worsening of connection.' (an irony in itself considering the horrendous online Konami provided at launch.)
I argued that these reports were wrong, and perhaps vindictive in nature (I had been naming cheats myself in my user information, and had recently got into a bitter argument on a dedicated PES forum where my username was open for all, I also mentioned that the PES community wasn't really much of a community in terms of its friendliness and honesty.)
I asked 3 times for more evidence, knowing full well of my innocence. I was ignored each time, Konami stating 'user reports'. No further evidence was provided to me. They simply stated the decision was final.
I raised the following points with them after contacting the CBA:
I also took advice from a close personal friend of mine who worked for Blizzard on WoW in regards to such matters. He informed me that in that game, if any accusation was to take place in that game, the utmost care would be taken when investigating. Something that has obviously not occurred here as I am 100% certain of my innocence. Though they are slightly different situations in that WoW is subscription based whereas Konami already have my money.
Upon receiving the above advice, I was advised to consider 3 options; to be completed amicably, via a mediation service or through legal avenues:
As a long term fan, ISS/PES has permeated by entire life for 20 or so years, and I wouldn?t want to completely leave a series I have loved so much. But, I fear there is no choice, and their actions have resulted in the complete alienation of a loyal and honest member of your customer base.
Question: Should I pursue this? Or am I overacting and have absolutely no chance of success? I absolutely hate injustice of any kind, I don't mind paying to see wrongs put right. By 'ban' is up in a few days but I am actually scared to play the game now and any enjoyment I had has been completely sucked out of me. My heart says keep at them, but my head says just walk away and buy FIFA (urrrrrrgh!)

I raised the following points with them after contacting the CBA:
- These reports were completely untrue. I asked them multiple times for more evidence other than said reports, and I was ignored each time. I put it to them that no further evidence exists, as I am certain a complete miscarriage of justice has taken place.
- Therefore, features advertised to me before purchase of the game have been taken away without due explanation.
- They are in breach of their own conditions as service, as linked to me by themselves in a help ticket. If any cheating was taking place (which it was not); I should have been warned first, then suspended for a shorter period of time if cheating was continuing, and then, if cheating continued...suspended for the time period that I received.
- Konami's terms and conditions are worthless if they are unfair, misrepresent or enforced without due care.
- Requests on how to avoid such measures in the future were ignored.

- Repeat my request for further, unequivocal evidence of my wrong doing.
- Seek financial compensation for my lost month.
- Seek a full refund of the product, accompanied by closure of my account and return of the product.
