I did install JP XP some years ago for a laugh.

Was barely different for myself due to familiarity of the OS.

It's all ok till you get error messages & things break. Diving into the settings in Japanese is horrifying.

Judging by what BF4 looked like on my play through I'm now going to say yes, stunning game, I'm pretty sure PS3/360 couldn't pull it off to that degree though I haven't seen those versions running to be fair.

I find the error messages don't help anyway.

If I ever have an issue it is due to strict memory timings that I can't relax due to my crap motherboard.

speaking of Steam... i am really liking it so far. nice UI, decent store search, easy install of latest versions, no patching, TV mode and lots of great offers. got me The Witcher, ARMA 2 complete and Crysis Warhead for less than 5 Euros each. could this be Next Gen too? i'd say yes.

I only have Killzone which looks amazing but hardly next gen. Think I need to get the cross platform stuff like Colin, ironically! Looking forward t single player Ghosts, actually!

I've nearly finished ghosts now, I won't ruin it for you by saying what happens, but I've found it graphically jaw dropping in places. Keep in mind I played very few recent PS3 games though and may just be easily impressed!
