Sonics concept was flogged into the ground after the second one, let alone the utter dross thats been released since (adventure being an enjoyable game, though still bugged to hell).

I would like nothing more than to never hear of another Sonic game being released ever, just scrap the series, seriously sega.

My god it looks horrible, seriously Sega just retire Sonic it's embarassing just watching a mess like that. It almost looks like a gamecube game it's so choppy. Try working on some of the other IP's instead of flogging Sonic into the ground.

You wouldn't happen to have an address for the two twats doing the game commentary, as I would dearly like to track them down and give them a good smack.

I know the game is aimed at kids but it's pretty insulting to think just because it's aimed at kids you can release something so ****e.

If totally looks unfinished, even the graphics are flickering and popping up it looks as glitchy as sonic adventure did back on the dreamcast but at least sonic adventure had the excuse of been early 3D tech how many years have passed and we get something like this.

It's starting to be one of those games where it's so bad that it becomes good because of how unintentionally funny it becomes, kind of appropriate they called it Sonic boom as that's what's going to happen it will bomb hard Sega should lend Sonic to Nintendo to see if they can make a half decent Sonic game, his legacy of ****e games is so long now that it's kind of getting a bit sad for him.

Come on now guys, I think you're being a bit harsh.

For example, look how gracefully the battleship approaches, delicately hovers (clearly not locked on one path), and then continues it's elegant flight, only to disappear menacingly behind the trees before it's even behind them.

I thought it was superb.

It looks a bit like a Crash Bandicoot game; I flicked to a bit of that video above watching Tails heading down a corridor of trees in a jungle.

Looks like Temple Run. I'm with Kit - this feels like a mobile game dressed up for a console using cut scenes and the odd fancy loop angle.

Imagine xmas day you open that as your present
