or 419 with Fifa and pretty much any other game (link takes you to Dead Rising pack)

What do you reckon my chances are of hitting Tesco for my ?30 back from my less than a week old console purchase
Slim to non. But if you bought it online you could just say you are going to send it back

The 360 was superb value from launch though. ?280 for the premium pack. Surely one of the cheapest console launches of all time, particularly when accounting for inflation.

?420 with a Fifa and a game is great next gen value. Even though I want fifa and can't bring myself to pay more then ?20 for it

Yeah I wouldn't be arsed for the sake of ?30. I got my PS4 with Killzone for ?385 at launch, which seems like quite a deal still, but it's always a risk buying early.

Bit strange timing, I appreciate that it needs to happen but I don't really know why they are putting the price drop out on the 28th Feb when Titanfall doesn't release until the 11th March.
Would have thought they'd go all out with the pricedrop\bundle at the same time.

Still, good that MS are responding.

I'm one of those rare breeds that actually think having the download code for Titanfall is a good thing.

I doubt it's going to be a major install size and with the advent of requiring installs as mandatory it's nice not having to disc swap. For those that are more inclined to want a disc copy for all of this opposing benefits simply sell the download copy code and buy the disc? I know a few guys that did this with Forza/FIFA except here it's a game you know will interest a lot of owners.

Agreed. MS almost had it right with their initial plan. If they had let end users activate and deactivate the discs it'd have been spot on. Install from disc then not needed again unless selling or swapping or whatever.

It wasn't the disc swapping that most people complained about mostly, it was that in order for that system to work effectively they would require an internet connection at all times.

Nice move much needed to try and combat the release of Infamous.

Titanfall vs Infamous, an important month for both consoles.

I'm fairly certain TitanFall will sell a lot more than inFamous. I'm much less convinced that it will result in the console sales impact that MS are hoping for though.

Maybe, but when you consider PS4 gamers have a drought and that PS4 console figures are way ahead of Xbox then maybe not.

It will bump things up for microsoft no doubt, but i'm actually surprised they are doing this so soon.

I would have thought titanfall would sell systems regardless of the discount...obviously they were very concerned.
