Been playing a lot of Wii U with my boy over Christmas. The more I play the more I think it's another great system being over looked. It has a great variety of games with some amazing visuals. It's a pity 3rd party support has gone.

After playing the so called next gen systems Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World and Sonic Lost World still impress visually. Vibrant rich colourful graphics with very smooth frame rates.

Graffics aside, id still choose a WiiU every time over a Xbone without a moments doubt.. The games are FUN, ill say it again, FUN which is what games are all about..

people that call the console a failure or dead in the water clearly have never owned one long enough to actually appreciate what we have been offered, so many fantastic games, Id say I love the wiiU more than I loved my GC and its my 2nd favourite ever Nintendo console after the snes

The Wii U is a spectacular failure. And the people that say it doesn't matter because Nintendo have loads of money clearly don't understand business. This cannot be allowed to happen again. Regardless of the pot of cash they have, companies do not like to lose money.

Personally I don't mind if Wii U ends up being a commercial failure. Its already got a very solid library of games which are fun to play now and will be for years to come. Often the best things are overlooked by the mainstream, but this I feel, can make such items more special for those who do notice.

Had my Wii-U since last week and have only played Mario Kart 8, have Mario 3D sitting unopened, as I'm absolutely bloody loving MK8. It's even made me re-purchase a 3DS XL. Nintendo, you are scallywags, but I love thee.

Ha. Yep. Sums up nintendo for me too. Also the only dev this gen that actually bothers to play test their products. You can actually put a nintendo disk in the machine and it works without a day one patch that pretty much downloads the entire game.

Rainbow Six Vegas and GRAW were the best and happiest gaming memories I had of the last gen thanks their sheer brilliant On-Line co-ops modes .
