Thing is, I like Mario Party, except for the actual board game bit. I find those tedious as they're too random.

Mario Party really hasn't been very good for years now.

Maybe one of you prefer it to the other?

Just ordered WiiFit U with the step-counter thing from Amazon, after finding a balance board in GAME for ?5 in very good condition (it looked like it'd hardly been used).
A quick sanitising with some surface wipes and I just had a jump on the Mario Sonic Winter Games for the Wii, which I had lying around; the skiing, snowboarding and bobsledding were great fun on the board.
One thing which is frustrating is that I wanted to get WiiFit U from the eShop, but it's ?30 for just the digital release. At Amazon it's ?20 with the step-counter. That's a bit of a joke. Shame, too, as it's the kind of game/application which is ideal for having on the machine all the time.

It took me around one week to platinum Bloodborne, yet here I am two years later still smashing my head against a brick wall with stuff like TW101 and NSMBU.
Originally posted by Zen Monkey View PostMileage always varies depending on preference. Rather than complete a game then immediately want something new to play, I like to master (or get as good as I can at) a game. And I feel the likes of MK8, TW101, SMBU, SMW, and Bayonetta have enough depth to keep me playing for a good while yet.

Having watched a lot of gameplay videos I'm starting to buy into the hype for E3 announcements now
Super Mario Maker, Star Fox Zero and Animal Crossing amiibo Festival all on preorder with Amazon. I may go for Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash too if it reviews seriously well (8/10 consensus and 32+ in Famitsu).
What a sucker I am...
In other news Kirby: Mouse Attack (Squeak Squad to some of you) and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards hit VC in Europe this week.
