    In a nutshell sir. 😉

I think sometimes on here you guys forget that not everyone is in their 30/40s and been gaming for 20+ years. NES Remix is an education and I think it's one of the best things Nintendo have done in decades.

Nintendo Land is also a caveat. Yeah, if I was in a room with one of you guys we'd play Street Fighter or Outrun 2 or something but with my friends and family Nintendo Land was the best local multiplayer game I ever played until Mario Kart 8 came along, it's just so easy to get into but deep and requires skill (unlike Wii Sports/Mario Party stuff), me and my young cousin completed co-op Metroid and Zelda in it and it was the most fun I've had in a room with another human being and a games console.

They're great games, I just think you guys are perhaps too core/skilled gamers for certain things like these but I'm not a weirdo, just part of a different audience. I mean I'd rather have my teeth pulled than play Skyrim or COD but I accept they're good at what they are even if that's something that's not for me.
Not that you'd ever generalise, but the kicker to your argument in one aspect is that I actually personally can't stand the likes of Skyrim or COD.

Nintendo Land, for me, just smacks of Nintendo trying to attempt another Wii Sports killer app whilst forgetting the simplicity of what made Wii Sports so popular. I accept that the multiplayer aspects of the games can be fun but imo they just smack of being a jack-of-all-trades whilst not really mastering anything well.

As for the NES Remixes (titles that I own)? In short bursts they're fine enough but the novelty wears off quickly with what is, essentially, just a retro compilation with a few extras tacked on. Nintendo weren't the first to make games like this, funnily enough, although admittedly one does wonder why they hadn't done something like this earlier with their back catalogue.

Good games? Sure. Great games? I don't think so.

Still don't understand people who hate the Cube pad.

Agreed. Especially when you consider it in comparison to the GamePad.

I don't think it's hatred, the Cube pad is just an oddball and people can't be bothered adapting to it.

(I quite like it, I use it for Smash)

Smash is probably why I revere it so much to be honest. So much precision and I can hold that thing for hours.

i like it more than a Dual Shock to be honest. -shock-

The GC pad was wonderful for a few 1st party games and hellish for many 3rd party games.

Best pad to play SoulCalibur with.

People do criticise Nintendo Land a lot. All I know is that when we had people over for a house-warming, we put it on and it was some of the best 3-4 hours of gaming I've ever known. The Mario and Animal Crossing games really were tremendous fun.

It's just a crap Mario Party. That's much better.

The GC controller is so comfortable to hold, the only pad they've made that I've enjoyed as much is the WiiU Pro Controller. Blend the two with the Pros face buttons and GC's main stick and triggers and I'd have a happy NX controller

Can something be a crap Mario Party? Mario Party is...

Finally some details on Project Zero. Game looks great but I'm really hoping the girl hurt her leg and that why she runs like that. I'd post the treehouse live play through but I'm on my phone...

Don't know if I'd go that far about Nintendo Land, to be honest.

Mario Party really hasn't been very good for years now.
