I think you need to remember just how crap Forza II looked like on the 360 and it wasn't even a launch title, its took Turn 10 some 3 odd years to make the 360 sing . So to get a game out the door on brand new hardware and to look and move as good as Forza 5 does takes some doing .

If you get the pro pack you get the pro controller, gamepad stand and wii sensor bar included too. All in your probably better getting that pack seeing as there are plenty of pro packs with a game going.

Forza 2 was early HD era, the industry was still learning.

Forza 5 is built from the previous game. Even if it uses a new engine, it still had all previous assets from the previous game. There is no comparison. Forza 4 already looked outstanding. 5 would naturally look better but it isn't a big leap.

Forza 4 is a lovely looking game, looking back at Forza 2 they did a great job considering how frequent installments are. Considering the hardware though, Forza 5 was a heavy dose of fail. The slight resolution increase is offset by the amount of cut content and poor decisions. Knowing what the team is usually like it was clearly a rush job for launch but Forza 6 really needs to nail it as F5 was too much like a ropey HD Remaster release

4 was stunning. Hugely impressed with it. Not just visual improvements but full in car views, 60fps and double the cars in a race from 3.

With any new Hardware there's learning curve
PGR 3 looked seriously impressive , even though the team had to get it ready for launch for new Hardware and one of the 1st High Def games too . Forza II looked pretty poor and in parts GT 4 on the PS3 looked better .

I'll epect Turn 10 with the next Forza will make a serious graphical jump too

PGR 3 had two prior games to build upon. It was also rough looking and felt sub 30 fps. I was not impressed. Not like I was with the incredible PGR1 with real time lighting, reflections and damage all at 60fps with custom music.

I always thought Forza 2 was a stellar effort when there was no GT5 present in the industry.
