Playism and Team Ladybug have announced that Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on December 16. The sidescroller RPG previously released for PC (Steam) in March 2021 after an Early Access period.
Have fancied the PC version for some time, but hearing it's coming to console is great news. Japanese physical release also contains a number of other languages, including English. Result!Comment

Those are some huge boots to fill. There's a lot of metroidvania-style games out there, and although plenty get one (sometimes more!) elements right, when you start playing lots of them your appreciation for the actual classics just deepens even further.
