IV and V were both delayed. Can't remember if the previous games were as I was only born in 2008

I anticipated it would be announced soon, that GTA6 would be delayed, as we edge closer to the middle of 2025 and there have been no official updates since the trailer back in December 2023, which slated it for 2025 release.
Glad they have settled on a specific date. I can still see it slipping again, even if it is by a few more months, to get a fall release in 2026.
As we have waited so long for this game already, I almost don’t want it to be released next year. As the thought of a new GTA game coming soon is more comforting, than knowing the next release is likely to be 15+ years from now or something. I may not even be around to experience it at that point…

Yep, on average we're now looking at Grand Theft Auto VII in 2039 at the minimum. By son will be 24 years old - he wasn't born when GTAV came out.Comment
