Ok weirdly my Series X has updated again. Current patch version in the dashboard is now Version 2.0.2.0?

According to Digital Foundry all reviewers were asked not to comment on performance until after the launch day patch which is normally a cause for concern... At least I can test this out tomorrow.

Hopefully when the game unlocks on European PCs it'll run decently at 1080...and I was hoping From and BaNa learned a thing or two from all the Souls they published on PC.

Ok so played for an hour on Series S. I'm running it on a 1080p60 screen and performance mode seems pretty decent this far but I don't think it's a stable 60fps.

The game is bloody gorgeous though. When I have time I'll try it out on my 1440p screen (I'm "working right now) and in the Series X downstairs later.

Officially it releases tomorrow, but Shopto, amongst others, had it in stock yesterday.

My copy ordered from The Game Collection has just been delivered. The Launch Edition comes with stickers, art cards and a woven patch - all complete tat in my opinion but it's free so to be expected.

The game is a 45 GB install on PS5 with a 5.4 GB patch. Looking forward to seeing if the game's the masterpiece many reviews are saying.

Had a check and From falls under the umbrella of a company that also houses Sunsoft. They seem to be very media wide in focus with games not really being that much of a reliance so if anyone was to buy them it likely wouldn't be with From as the reason why and the parent company has growing ties to Tencent so it'll likely be them. I don't think any of the big three would benefit from buying From anyway, as well liked as their games are they fit a particular niche that neither MS or Nintendo seem focused on. Sony has the most time for them but as they have Bluepoint, other devs and the IP rights to Demon's and Bloodborne already...

So I assume From aren't at risk of anything changing anytime soon

Just checked and my copy has arrived, so after work, this is getting installed and I am not leaving the house till I’ve had a good run at this…

My lame attempt at a media blackout has given me an idea of what to expect, but looking forward to reading more about how others on here feel about the game in a few days…
