I ordered it (PC) and really looking forward to it but I can see myself admiring it, but ultimately playing it for 15mins like I did for every other Souls-type game I own.

I really hope that this does work as the inroad for all of you who've had crappy experiences with Souls games to date. I've been avoiding media and trying not to get too excited about it in the run up, but it's now so bloody close!Comment

Pre-ordered this for £40. Who am I kidding, I've loved Souls since Demons so not even a silly bouncy horse is going to dampen my ardour! It looks the tits. I really hope they can do something interesting with the open world, however, as - BotW aside - it's a gameplay model I tend to lose patience with. But it doesn't look like it's going for the Ubisoft/Witcher map-spam approach, so that's promising.Comment

I know what you mean but this sensation wouldn't have lasted you very long, as the word-of-mouth reputation of Demons was so strong it was translated and released into the west really quite quickly. I also imported it, put it on a shelf a couple of months, then installed and struggled with it for a while, and then the western release was announced.
